We traveled to Oregon to purchase this clock
from a clocksmith. It is # 12 of only 217. As you can
see, it is quite exquisite and has been kept in excellent
shape by the clocksmith.

| How about an antique French Morbier Clock? |
Legend has it that the
Monks would begin praying when the clock struck the
top of the hour at mealtime. At 3 minutes after the hour, the Morbier clock chimed again, and it signaled them to cease their prayers and begin their meal.
When our Morbier Clock chimes
on the hour, and 3 minutes past the hour, I
often think of the Monks in Comtoise, France.
