Clock Clinics - You are invited!!!
Time
On My Hands Clockworks also holds Clock Clinics several times each year at various locales enabling clients
who do not have access to a horologist in their area to bring their antique clocks, swiss music boxes and phonographs
to us at the Clinic for repair and/or service. At some of these Clock Clinics we also will place some of our own private clocks
for sale. Many families choose to purchase a clock for special
occasions such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or retirements, etc., to give as family heirlooms. Come in and
see what we can do to accomodate your family's needs.
If
you have a clock that is a family heirloom that has been sitting in a box in the attic, now is a great time to unbox
that clock and bring it in for repair. After it has been repaired, you will definitely want to display it in your
home.
A few of the items we have
for sale include: an antique, 9-tubular bell Herschede grandfather clock that was made in 1915 (#12
of 215) with a hand-painted face; a French Morbier clock, a 6 foot Jeweler's Regulator clock w/ second hand, a Swiss
Music Box (plays 10 aires), 1844 Schwilgue Tower Clock Movement, as well as wall clocks, mantle clocks, grandfather clocks,
statue clocks, portico clocks, banjo clocks, vienna regulator clocks, and cuckoo clocks, to name just a few. Names of
famous Clock companies and clockmakers whose clocks we have with whom you may be familiar include Seth Thomas, Ansonia Clock
Company, Black Forest Clock Company, Gustav Becker, Gustav LaPelt, Elgin Clock Company, Simplex Time Company, Herschede, Howard
